Ultrasound Bill?
My husband and I are TTC? I went to my gynecologist for my Clomid and hormonal levels to make sure everything was balanced and OK to start the Clomid because I knew she was not pregnant. My gynecologist started with a vaginal examination and then began to do a vaginal ultrasound. Having a child I know how expensive u / s by what was said I knew she was not pregnant since I took a test this morning and said he did not want / need to have a made. Literally 10 seconds made a control without my permission and now a month later I am getting billed for an ultrasound of $ 300. What should I do? Does anyone has been in this situation before? Clomid is useless if the dose is to produce mature follicles, and the best way is through monitoring ultrasound. Some doctors do a monitoring and dose a few cycles, but if pregnancy occurs almost always change course and start serial ultrasound. Basically, In summary, the Ultrasound scan is done at present its baseline. Doc and the custom of many fertility treatments prescribed without one. ~ Ej
