The Nintendo DSI will be published in the United Kingdom during the summer of 2009 and should be a great success with players. ISD console will be the third member of the Nintendo DS series, following the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite. The console was launched in Japan in November 2008 and has been a great product to sell at Christmas time.
Nintendo have listened carefully to feedback from their clients during the design of the ISD, the implementation of a number of new features and functions to improve their technology. The new console has many improvements over the Nintendo DS and Nintendo maintains reputation for developing fun, innovative new products.
For those not already familiar with the series of DS is a handheld console. Naturally, the Portability is a key issue and Nintendo have been faced with the challenge of making the console lighter and more portable, while being careful not sacrificing durability. Therefore, DSI is 2.6mm, or about 12% thinner than DS Lite.
The other major challenge facing Nintendo is similar to those faced by manufacturers of mobile phones and laptops – How to make the product more portable, while increasing the size of the screen. Nintendo has responded to that with an increase of 8% over the 3-inch LCD to make it 3.25-inches. This is approximately a 17% increase in the visual display. They have also improved both the volume and sound quality.
The Nintendo DSI has added a certain number of new features, including a camera and music player. As ever with Nintendo products, the emphasis on fun and creativity these new features, rather than go to work on improvements to existing technology.
With the camera function, the ISD can take pictures using a variety of special effects on a real-time. Similarly, the audio function allows users playing with sounds and maniuplate. Some typical functions include the ability to change the height and speed separately using the Touch Screen.
This adds a new twist on the technology that is already on our mobile phones and provides an element of fun, which is synonymous with Nintendo brand. Well that the essential function of ISD for the rest console games – the depth of adding new features and improvements of the DS series.
Hardcore players who can not wait until summer to play on the console ISD have the possibility to import ISD Japan, although it should be noted that you should buy Japanese versions of games that the United Kingdom would not be compatible with the console. The estimated retail price of output is around £ 130. Imported versions can be purchased for around £ 150-170 before shipping and import duties.
