If you are an ultrasound technician, you can get a job anywhere?
I am becoming an ultrasound technician and I just want know after I get my diploma or certificate to complete this course, Is this race to find a job easy or difficult to find one around the nation U.S.?
It depends on whether or not the program you are attensing is an accredited program through the ARDMS. With UN programs accredited, graduates tend to have to wait a year to be eligible, including registration tests and as such is not the hospitals Keene for the procurement of a register of eligible technology All in not yet. This is because most ultrasound laboratories in major hospitals are accredited by the ACR, and the staff, depertmental ALL RDMS is mandatory within 1 year of hire date, no start date. Since the restriction unacreddited program requires minimum 1 year experience complete work before they even can be applied to sit for the examinations, this may pose a problem (as seen in mathematics that these dates match) …. and most hospitals are not going to risk losing accredidation department. You can see their schools in caahep.org accredidation staus. In general, however, ultrasound is in high demand and a shortage at this time. There are jobs in all major hospitals to be filled.
