guided ultrasound biopsy

If a doctor asks me to come and have a biopsy guided by ultrasound is not to say that they have breast cancer?
Only recently was to be a mammogram and got a call saying to go into ultrasound-guided biopsy. I looked at what it was and I worry now that I have breast cancer …. I definaltty.I have a mammogram every month and every time is good. Why is it happening this time?
When every time the radiologist sees growth abnormal or mass on mammography, your first task is to inform your doctor of your findings. This does not mean it is cancer, is a procedure to automatically dial a biopsy to rule out cancer. The biopsy may also tell your doctor what else is if there is cancer. The bumps can mean more than one thing. So relax, is just a normal procedure. Your doctor cares about you. Why mammograms every month? Do you have other problems. I know, I'm being nosy, sorry. Anyway, have a biopsy and expect the best. I wish you good health Add just read Little .. I do not remember the name. Anyway, she's exaggerating about the biopsy. When I had mine, I was terrified. I will not lie about it. Just because the fever had visions of long needles. The radiologist was so sweet, she Lidocane injected to numb it. As the needle is inserted, it also continued to release the anesthetic agent. I was so surprised that there was no pain with the biopsy, indeed, 90% of biopsies are made with needles. She has a photo of your MRI, CT and mammography in front of her so she knows to get the needle in the right place. I had 8 biopsies that day. 8 times that the needle is inserted because it had 2 tumors in his chest. If I understand, you have no trouble Hospital have their own way of doing biopsies. My sister lives in Connecticut and his doctor did a needle biopsy, the procedure for this was different from mine. Either way, do not listen to Miss negative there because it is wrong or he had a doctor who was in a hurry and hurt her. I hope that's not the case, may actually harm, and should not have,. Sorry Little …. I hope that makes you the mind at ease a little. God bless you.
