What do all the letters and numbers on average in the top of the fetal ultrasound image?
I just had my first ultrasound at 8 weeks and saw the heartbeat, but do all the words / numbers mean at the top. As a parent, GN, E / A, Map, D, DR, FR, AO?
I believe these are steps taken during the examination. You can find some of them here: http://www.us-tip.com/serv1.php?type=abb different doctors use different abbreviations, too, so you could only know by asking the technology that made the examination.
